Giorgio Sant' Angelo (1933–1989) was an Italian/Argentinian fashion designer based in Los Angeles. Known for dressing starlets on the red carpet through the late 60’s and 70’s, still today his pieces are true vintage collectors items. After winning his first Coty Award in 1968, Sant’ Angelo dressed celebrities and rock stars: Isabella Rossellini wore Sant’ Angelo to the Oscars, and his designs appealed to both Bianca Jagger and husband, Mick. Kate Moss has appeared in a selection of pieces from the Rolling Stones tour wardrobe and, in particular, a Giorgio Sant’ Angelo jacket that Mick Jagger wore onstage in 1976.
